Q: How soon will I receive my completion card?
A: Upon successful completion of your class you will receive your card via email. All completion cards offered from the American Heart Association are now digital download cards.
Q: Are manuals need it for the classes?
A: Yes, for majority of the classes the American heart Association requires that all students have a manual before during and after class.There are a few classes offered at lifesavers CPR and first aid instruction that do not require the students to have a manual. Please refer back to the description page of the website for those classes. Manuals are not included in the prices of the class. If you Need to purchase a manual you can do so through the website, and your book will be sent to you upon registration and payment for the class.
Q: Are group rates offered?
A: Yes. Life Savers CPR and First Aid Instruction Is equipped to travel to different locations and do small group lessons at Churches, daycare’s, medical offices, business /corporate offices, camps and schools.
Q: Are you an American Heart Association training site?
A: Yes. Life Savers CPR and First Aid is certified to teach all the AHA classes listed on the website. If you are a Baycare employee your card may also be used for all Baycare facilities.
Q: Are different cards offered to different people?
A: Yes. Healthcare providers and professionals will receive different cards than someone who is taking a class for their own knowledge. For customers who do not have a medical background we offer of the HeartSaver course and a first aid course.
Q: If my ACLS/PALS has expired can I still take the renewal/update course?
A: No. If you do not have a current active card, then you will have to retake the initial ACLS/PALS course. You must hold a active card that has not expired in order to take a renewal/update course.
Q: How long are the certifications good for?
A: your certification is good for two years. You have until the end of your expiration date to complete a class. Life saver CPR and First Aid will be glad to send you automatic reminders prior to your cards expiration.
Q: What is eLearning/blended learning ?
A: eLearning/blended learning is a format that allows you to complete part of one of your assessment online through the American Heart Association. Upon completion of your online skills a certificate will be provided for you to bring in to Life Savers CPR & First Aid. At that point Your AHA instructor will guide you in a hands on skill practice session followed by a skills test.
